Internet Access for Students

Resources for Families

If students/parents do not currently have internet access in their homes, D60 is recommending that families utilize resources that many companies have offered in response to the pandemic situation. These options include:

  • Comcast / Xfinity - Comcast has enabled families to receive free (for 60 days) Internet for families if they qualify. All they have to do is visit www.internetessentials.com to apply.

  • Comcast has published a map of free “hotspots” where students and families can attach to available Wifi. There are many locations around Pueblo that may be easy for students to connect to. Check the following website and search by zip code to locate locations near you. https://wifi.xfinity.com/

  • T-Mobile has activated hotspot capability on all customers who currently use T-mobile as their cell phone provider. This is being provided for free for the next two months for T-Mobile customers and is up to 20Gbps high speed data.

  • Secom (local company) is offering Special Discounted Pricing on services such as Wireless and Fiber for 90 days. To see if your house is in the service area please visit http://www.secom.net, email sales@secom.net, or call 719.383.1349.

  • D60 is currently working on additional internet access options if needed.
